It isn't but because time moves at the speed of light and we are viewing it from a slow as fuck perspective it appears wiggly to us because we couldn't see it if it was straight, it would be too fast.

We walk by non-squiggly time arrows all the time in life we just don't see them because they are too smooth for how quick they are.
