Speaking as someone from somewhere in West Bumblefuck, AR... That looks more like Kansas.. lol

It's 7800km from Kansas. I believe that the US state with the closest climate would be Minnesota.

Hei.

Sisu.

And, that’s all the Finnish I know. As a native English speaker, Finnish and other Scandinavian languages look very scary to me.

Paska traktori and vasara kalakeitossa are useful phrases to keep in mind as well.

You have one single word for this! Finnish is so efficient. :D

[–] hemko@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You have blown my mind. I had no idea.

Hyvaa yöta :D

Vasara kalakeitossa might be my new favorite phrase of all time.

Here's a new word for your finnish repetoire:

Perkele!

Put some feeling into it when you say it.

[–] W3dd1e@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is a good one. I feel like I will use this.

[–] Iconoclast@feddit.uk 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You can use this to assist with the pronunciation.

I already taught all my coworkers.

[–] fartographer@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

That was a surprisingly close guess, then. I was gonna guess Hoth in springtime.

Ah, I see! You did call it miserable twice though, and Kansas certainly fits that description
