This sounds like owning a 3d printer.

I've been using vimwiki for a while. My most recent change was to switch it over to md format, and setting it up share data with Obsidian. Most of the note taking still happens in the terminal, but digging through it typically happens in the Obsidian UI.

So far it's working pretty smoothly.

Literally kills thousands of people a year.

Just the peel? That is going to make every other part of acquiring and eating a banana really weird.

This feels like the right place to link to the Kralyn Positron project which is a compact, open source portable 3D printer.

I started buying parts to make one but haven't taken the time to get any of the machined parts manufactured yet.

It's possible to have faith in something that isn't a god.

I was raised Christian and capitalist. I've since lost faith in both.

Separating the population into two groups based on arbitrary criteria then making blanket statements about the groups is prejudice. I don't think prejudicial thinking is really what you want to be supporting, is it?

Aprs.fi

A bit if a joke. Aprs is a common protocol amateur radio operators use to share their location.

The site mentioned is a popular site that displays said data.

I started a job where I don't have any access to a kitchen to warm up food. On a whim, I bought an insulated thermos to bring hot food in. I tried it for the first time yesterday, and I have to say it was so pleasant to have have an instantly ready hot meal when I stopped to have lunch.

I find most foods are best as soon as they are made, but some things seem to get better when the flavors have more time to meld. The only two I can think of right now are chili and hummus. What other dishes am I forgetting, or haven't tried that you think get better with a little time?
