Have you tried making espresso with different kinds of beans? There are plenty of options that aren't bitter. Add in some milk or better yet some oatmilk and it tastes great

True. I've noticed this especially when it comes to any feminist content or just vaguely women-centric opinions. In particular, this is probably due to the comparatively and relatively small number of women on Lemmy
IIRC it's because the caves start high up in the mountains and are mostly above sea level. Caves that start closer to sea level can't be as deep, something about the water table. Or at least, we can't explore caves as easily when they're full of water. I think those caves in Georgia are mapped up to where the water table is and are theorized to be even deeper

I failed an internal phishing test one time, the first time I've been on the receiving end of the tests instead of the one making it up and sending it out
Anyway, I was still new at the company so I wasn't sure of all the usual domains and processes they have. During an all-hands meeting, the CEO mentioned that we will be receiving our bonuses soon and to make sure to adjust your settings if you want to avoid it all going into your 401k or something. A week later, I get an email saying that I need to adjust my payroll settings for the upcoming bonus. Turns out, it was a phishing test. Jokes on me, the real email to adjust those settings came 4 months later.
I really miss it. Unfortunately, as you said, it's pretty terrible now. The sequel/remake is shaping up to be just as terrible as the modern version
