Plus with all the oil exploration, geothermal is actually promising as there are essentially hundreds of thousands of test holes we have data on.

There was an animated movie in 2009 too (it bombed though) and more recently the Pluto anime which I haven't seen but is loosely based off of the manga iirc.
I usually just say something like "look over there!" and sneakily replace the rock they were tasting to the one I want identified
They were just clearing up a misunderstanding. 7 tacos is different than this
I'd be ok with it if they were like zombies or something, but they're intelligent so that explanation just feels like such a stretch to me. Are vampires also affected by window muntins and fences? Can I fend off a vampire attack with a suit of graph paper armour? Do they freak out at the sight of jungle gyms?
Isn't that essentially what we have now with foreign currencies? It doesn't seem to do much to curb international transactions, except create an industry of middle-men exchangers.
I agree, but certain changes that confuse the language deserve at least a little pushback, especially when it's due to ignorance that the change occurs.
