I'm kinda out of the loop. Can someone explain this comic to me?

I'm very detached from whatever kids like these days. I would have thought that Minecraft was old for them

Too little too late, and fuck him for firing engineers that basically only did what their managers told them to. I'm so tired of these entitled executives and the boards of directors with their bullshit nonsense, inability to produce anything of value besides exploiting their workforce and their customers.

I worked on this in a Voice Ordering company during 2020-2022. Many brands had already deployed successfully voice ordering on the phone and many were testing it on drive thru. The main reason why they would pay for this is to not hire more people at the store to take the orders (phone/drive thru). Every single conversation was being recorded for us to use to analyze and retrain the AI models we had. I think they are now facing some legal issues in some states. But just so you know, we could navigate all conversations, hear/read transcripts of everything that was said during the call with the bot.

That worked for me. Over the course of a few months I met a bunch of people and made a couple of good friends 😁

We are seeing an influx of new users, but what's happening to older users? Are they still active? What's the average lifetime of Lemmy users nowadays? I'm kinda curious about the user retention in general

Am I reading this right? Meta tried to be compatible with Lemmy and every server owned agreed to mass block them and leave them out?
