Agreed. Why do I need my fridge to be able to tell me the weather? Just keep my shit cold.

I sometimes go solo wild camping and I've had a few moments where I've thought "shit, I'm actually in trouble here". My country is small so even in the wilderness you can usually get signal of some sort. But I never called for help, due to a mixture of embarrassment and not wanting to waste time and resources for a problem I created myself. Not including the countless times I've simply gotten lost.
I always got out fine by myself in the end, but I can totally see how people end up in some pretty bad situations or maybe even dying without calling for help.
What? Why? This seems so random and inappropriate.
S2 was way better.
I suspect her role in the military wasn't what most viewers picture when someone says that.
The fake Welsh thing was just bizarre. How pointless was that?
I think the priest thing could've been interesting, but it never really came up.
I strongly suspect the producers were counting on the new "seer" thing not being immediately used to find the only traitor left. Because it totally torpedoed the end.
Yeah I get that. It's kinda funny that they're considered a lower tier because my A Levels were more stressful than ANYTHING in my bachelor's or master's, by far (and they're both in what's considered to be challenging subjects). The actual content of my Law A Level has been the most professionally and personally useful out of any other professional or academic qualification, and condensed into less time.
So I take your point entirely.
I know this isn't the point, but they're not even good jokes? On a technical level. Forget the subject matter for a moment, they're just bad puns that aren't very funny or creative.
Colleges ARE lesser, are they not? They provide a lower level of qualification and are usually attended at a younger age. I've been out of education for a while so happy to be corrected.
No disrespect to the guy individually but "it's not free, it's paid for by taxes" is mentioned every single time when this conversation comes up.
Everybody knows. Nobody actually thinks these these things appear out of thin air. We all know how taxes pay for public services and employment rights.
We have a lot of problems here in the UK but at least most of us think Musk is an idiot. That diver he called a paedophile way back was a point of national pride for us at the time, because he was British.
I am convinced that the assassination attempt secured him the win. I'm not American so maybe I'm way off, but over here that felt like the pivotal moment. It's still annoying how GOOD that picture is.
I mean it's true that jury nullification is a thing, but that relates to decisions made in the jury room. Jury vetting is a completely separate matter that takes place before the trial starts proper.
I mean, it's not easy to be a judge. Doing good by making sure the law is applied correctly and fairly is precisely the POINT of them. (Obviously not to these "people")
