How old is that power supply? I've seen several that just the act of it being unplugged for 5 minutes allows it to boot again.
The theory being a capacitor or such needed a chance to calm down a bit somewhere, and something in the power supply or mainboard would proceed until power was back to normal.
Especially common if there's brownouts or surges.
I fear we are well on the path as was described by Robert Heinlein a while back:

Looking at the article, all they do is quote every involved party that responded. Her work, his work, him directly, and then state noted facts about her no longer working for her job and her direct quotes from social media...
And the meter pegging out under unfair left bias... Somehow.
The delusion is insane.
