The year is 2024:

We have self driving cars, AIs that can make hyper-realistic images and conversations, advanced genetic engineering, and a plethora of other powerful technologies, sciences and maths and we still have to pay for essentials like food and water, some of which can barely afford to feed themselves and make rent.

Remember this when you vote.

Fun fact: we’re closer to fungi than we are to plants!

So far I like the idea I really do, but they’ve got scientists wearing only masks after their fucking Geiger counters go off the charts, and then they’ve got this Japanese family living in Japan with a BOWL OF FORTUNE COOKIES on their living room table. HUH?????

Who the fuck is writing/directing this shit 😂😂

Maybe I’ve misunderstood how radiation works or Japanese customs but I can’t understand why a japenese family would choose their living room center piece snack bowl to be Chinese American cookies lmao. I’m holding off on looking up the director but I’m guessing it’s some western person who was like THROW SOME OF THOSE ASIAN COOKIES ON THAT THERE TABLE.

Any of you guys watch the series yet? Thoughts?

Literally unhinged take lmfao

Reasses your fucking priorities dude. Fucking child abuse or users on the website. Imo you deserve a global ban if you’re a serious on this take and not just being a 4head

Yeah man because these are all inherent issues and not at all to do with the implementation

Sometimes it’s fun to try doing things differently, but I sort of agree with you. As time goes on it’s harder and harder to break ourselves of our habits

That’s a stretch

It’s purely topical and entirely accurate in its dramatization of reality

Very cute desktop “ass_destroyer”

You mean to tell me that copying the exact same system that Reddit was using and couldn’t keep bots out of is still vuln to bots? Wild

Until we find a smarter way or at least a different way to rank/filter content, we’re going to be stuck in this same boat.

Who’s to say I don’t create a community of real people who are devoted to manipulating votes? What’s the difference?

The issue at hand is the post ranking system/karma itself. But we’re prolly gonna be focusing on infosec going forward given what just happened

That sure would be nice but that pesky ego/personality is a tough one to ignore.

I personally found that a lot of the women I talked to on dating apps acclimate themselves by becoming more jaded, sarcastic etc as a defense.

Can’t blame em haha
