Feel you on this, it’s depressing but it’s a valid feeling because we live in really dark times and as individuals we have very limited influence on the turnout of these things.

Except that they’re making perfect sense and you’re simply calling it political propaganda because it doesn’t fit into your world view. There’s nothing to patronize because it’s a perfectly sane take, you’re the one trying to gaslight us here.
As a trans person in this timeline obviously they’re not okay, are you doing anything to make the situation better for them in any possible way? If not better lose the snarkiness
At this point it’s equally likely that the mainstream media just don’t care because of their reason of state. Idk how their reporting is on other Palestine related content but in my country it’s mostly silence, I learn about what’s happening mostly from The Guardian and Al Jazeera because most media outlets simply don’t give a fuck about Palestinian life.
Everyone speaks English all around the world. I’m cool with that, would rather our kids learning it from kindergarten on than learning some random new language that’d be useless anywhere else. People can still keep their native tongue & stuff, idc, just make the whole EU English speaking
Justify this one Ziobots, tell me, how are these children Hamas?
Zionism is irredeemable, I would have never imagined to see Nazi-shit like snipers shooting children as a recent event in the news. We need to abolish Zionism and the Zionist entity, there’s just no going back from this. Like Nazi-Germany couldn’t continue existing, Zionist-Israel needs to be dismantled and de-nazified. These people are beyond redemption.
This kind of ignores all the proxy wars in between and shit like inventing that Iraqi soldiers killed newborns in Kuwait in order to justify Operarion Desert Storm. In a sense, the author mentioned it, politicians worked much harder on their propaganda efforts. The propaganda is done in 2025 to silence opponents and justify atrocities is on Soviet Russia levels imo. I appreciate the optimistic and long-term perspective, I’m just frustrated and horrified that we can’t stop a live-streamed genocide from happening at all, and it doesn’t help people in Gaza or Sudan that our protests might have an impact in the long run. What I see though is that we absolutely changed the narrative, the truth is now a mainstream opinion and the propaganda is seen for what it is. It’s a small success, but it’s a success nevertheless.
Nuanced take as in not going against your Zionist hatemongering brainrot?
Last time there was a vote and most people wanted to remain in DST permanently. Somehow then the whole thing just died out. I don’t think it’s ever gonna happen
I don’t get people like you. Since your instance is feddit you’re probably from Germany where people have particularly strong opinions on arbitrary things. There’s like 45 minutes difference between sunrise / sunset / zenith between eastern and western parts of Germany so this argument kinda makes no sense. There’s also no "real" time zones because time zones are a human invention.
Antisemitism in Germany = criticizing Israel.
Only lesson they learned is to not kill Jews again. Otherwise, they’re still the same genocidal maniacs they’ve always been as we can see from their support of the Gaza genocide.
