I never played Majora's mask but damn do I love his character design. He's probably one of the most iconic Zelda characters and he only appears in one game, that's how cool he his

One of my favorite questions to answer; what's the difference between a country, a state, and a nation. All 3 terms are used interchangeably but actually do have very specific meanings.
A country is the geographical region that includes the territories and borders of a state or nation.
A state is the governing body that operates and exerts administrative control over a territory or nation.
A nation is much more complicated and not as clear cut but in essence is the people who occupy a country or state. The bonds that create a nation can be different depending on who you ask and be a global world spanning bond like a religion or language or something small scale and local, like a sports team or a neighborhood block.
Hope that helps
Like I said, I still agree with the comparison and even more now that I see both numbers. But the initial numbers you used were not as related as the comment made them seem
While I don't disagree with the essence of what you're saying, those numbers are a bit misleading. There's only about 38.8 registered Republicans in the US which comes to about 11.1% of the US population.
Even if you take the 2024 election results, only about 22.6% of the population voted Republican
20 vials is very generous but that's not what the problem is. The problem is that they are a non-recharging consumable. Unlike estus flasks which fully recharge every time you go to the bonfire, blood vials can run out.
If it's your first time playing, you might run out. And if you run out, you have to go through a very un-fun and time consuming farming run just to restock
Right, like the main character, who is a scientist, is just playing a videogame most of the time. And he literally sees a countdown timer that no one else sees but the urgency to save himself just doesn't exist for some reason.
Yeah I read The Redemption of Time. It's a little cringey at times and reads like fanfiction you might see on AO3 but I still think it was a fun read. I would certainly not consider it to be canon though.
Honestly I agree with a lot of your criticisms. The first book is mostly just setting up the story for the next two. I always forget the first book is mostly a murder mystery because the other two books lean in such a different direction.
The main character doesn't really do anything for the story. It feels like the plot happens around the main character and nothing would've changed without them. Fortunately every book has a new main character and the one from the first book is never mentioned again. Personally I think the characters are much better written as the series goes on.
I am big fan of the series so I'm pretty biased when I recommend to try the second book, but if you have to force yourself to read a book then it's probably just not for you.
Just finished up Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes and am starting up The Stranger by Albert Camus.
Three Body Problem is so good. I would highly recommend reading the 2 sequels when you finish. It only gets better after the first book!
That is verifiably wrong. Daryl Davies is a black man who has convinced dozens of members of the KKK to renounce their beliefs and their robes. You absolutely can convince people that their beliefs are wrong.
