Gasoline can't melt concrete.

Make sure you man it with trans folk. Apparently they terrify the people in my country.

You probably don't even have to fully man it, just put a unisex bathroom on the front of them and maybe a poster about universal healthcare.

It is not too costly. That is fucking bullshit. It just won't earn as much money for their shareholders.

Fear of Iran is not the motivating factor for Gulf states closing their airspace.

Iran would be especially stupid to target other states' oil production as that would only foster a unified front against them and harm their own agenda.

The Gulf states just don't want conflict in general, smell a potential for escalation, and can see the U.S.'s weakening position. Also the U.S has been buying less and less oil from SA.

If Iran strikes first, that would be a different story, but for now, they are fighting entirely through proxies.

So the U.S. is also limited to targeting those proxies, or using their own.

The U.S. wouldn't use B-52's as a first strike anyway and don't need access to the aforementioned airspace to do so.

This airspace limitation is a dog and pony show. At least for now. If the U.S. keeps warming up to Russia, that may cool some heels on the Iranian front, but would also further exacerbate their strained relationship with the Gulf States.

Long story short, Trump's policies are making everyone hate the U.S. except for Israel and Russia. And that is fucking wild.

Google is earning ad revenue. So should Google get to keep it all then?

Is that an AI rendering of a modern warship, because that doesn't actually look like any U.S. warship I know.

Not just Americans. Wedge issues have been a political tool for a while now.

The Velveeta treason weasel is probably too dumb to realize it's not even his idea.

The people down voting all the posts disagreeing with OP say a different story.

Yeah, it is through OpenAI.

They made a Ghibli filter trying to get more people to buy their tokens.

I have zero issues with what I consider nothing more than a glorified filter.

However, fuck Altman and OpenAI. I'm not giving them.a single fucking penny.

Comparing this to leopards eating faces is a little much.

My point though is, why do you care so much? Their choices don't really affect you and you're just kicking someone when their down. ~~Love~~ Live your life and let other people live theirs.

Now if they were constantly annoying you about not having kids and then complain how kids ruined their lives, then yeah, judge away.

Otherwise, this is just shitty.

Edit: Love to Live

This post is weirdly judgemental.

If you like your child free life so much, why do you feel the need to comment on those that aren't.

That's my new pass phrase.

I am not sure I have aphantasia, but I definitely have difficulty with images.

The best way I can describe it is like I have mental impressionism.

I can see my wife's face, but it's like I am seeing it out of the corner of my eye and not in focus. If I try to focus on the details, it falls apart like zooming in on the detail of a Monet.

She can remember the conversation we had a month ago, on a date. Like play it back almost word for word. Meanwhile, I barely even remember the date itself.

But I can remember feelings, smells, and sounds. I can look at an image and I can imagine what it smells, or even feels like. Very vividly, the feel of a sunny country day. How the sun and breeze feels on my skin, the smell of the field, and the sound of the insects. I can close my eyes and almost feel like I am there. But ask me to visually describe it, I would have a hard time. (I have a terrible sense of smell now too).

I have a talent for recognizing voices, even if I can't understand the words. I can hear an actor and usually place them pretty easily, but I also can't understand conversational audio if there is any competing sounds. It is so frustrating sometimes and hearing aids don't really help that much.

Photo is unrelated, but Lemmy made me post one, so enjoy my torty.
