Ja, das ist noch ein anderes Kaliber. Aber es gibt schon deutliche Unterschiede zwischen den europäischen Staaten, in Deutschland ist ja allein schon die Bürokratie extrem unfreundlich gegenüber ausländischen Fachkräften, und zwar schon lange vor der Eskalation letztes Jahr.
Usually country where it was made. Food and drink that is sold in europe is usually made in europe (at least the processed kinds, raw ingredients are often from elsewhere), but if the brand/brand owner is american, most of the actual profits go to the US.

Das stimmt wohl, spätestens seitdem Trump an der Macht ist. Und China mag bei Chips im Rückstand sein, aber Europa ist noch deutlich weiter abgeschlagen - das einzige was uns da noch halbwegs über Wasser hält, ist, dass wir wohl ein relativ wichtiger Teil der Lieferkette sind durch Zeiss (Laser-Optiken). Aber das reicht ja bei weitem nicht, wenn wir in der EU CPUs für Desktops, Server oder Smartphones bauen wollen.
Wenn sie verfassungsfeindliche Taten begangen haben, kann man das ja gerichtlich feststellen lassen und sie verurteilen. Das wurde hier aber nicht getan.

Considering that the USA is a high-cost country that is much more likely to own brands than it is to actually manufacture branded goods (that are sold in Europe, at least), who does anything similar and why would they?
