unfortunately that involves writing to the instance owner/moderator which is too complex for most. Especially cause it's spread across many instances now

I use firefox and am actively looking to change to something, potentially librewolf.

Edit: just installed librewolf. it's super clean and I'm glad I got it. replaced firefox almost instantly.

Fennec is like a half fork, it contains mozilla services and is essentially just a fully FOSS build(blobs removed). That's why I was curious.

Glad mull got forked I'll probably start using that.

The commenter suggested the file would be downloaded to onedrive. This implies that it doesn't touch the computer.

Mainly just edgy teens, the more you read the hateful comments the more IG shows it to you. If you see a post with the comments, click Not Interested under it, it can help curate your feed.

This list seems to leave out a good amount of distros but overall not too bad.

Its very rare that I have a wet dream so locking up my meat wouldn't really prove much. Based on other comments, sleep jizz is autonomous.

That sounds like hell, imagine running an exe from the cloud

Eureka, Humboldt County, CA is at the same latitude as Eureka, Woodford County, IL, as well as Eureka, Warrington Township, PA.

KDE has a massive collection of app, and I combed through them to find some of the lesser-known hidden gems that people may not be aware of. Here is a list of my favorites.

  • Kirogi: A ground control software. It only supports a few drones right now, but should get MAVLink support in the future.
  • KStars: An astronomy software that lets you view the positions of planets and stars, as well as a whole lot of other features related to astronomy.
  • Licentia: A license comparison app. It lets you view and compare free software licenses. It has the full license text as well as a simplified list of features of it.
  • KDE Itinerary: An app for travel planning. Well designed, with detailed station views courtesy of Openstreetmap.
  • KTrip: Similar to Itinerary, a public transport navigation app
  • Alpaka: An Ollama client for running LLMs

These fucking bots are getting out of hand.

They support Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, HuggingChat, and Mistral.

For those who might not get it, every laptop that I’ve had has had two usb 3 ports on the right side, with other I/O like HDMI or headphone jack, and then one USB 2 port on the left side with less io, just the power jack.

I registered for Pixelfed.Social 3 days ago and still haven't received an email that confirmed my account, and I can't sign in on the website. Is it dead, or are the moderators a bit slower than it said on the website? If I was rejected would I receive an email?

Hey guys, I just wanted to say that Vim is charityware. This means that if you like the software and want to pay for it, you can donate to charity instead of to the developers of Vim. Vim recommends donating to ICCF Holland to pay for the software. ICCF Holland is a charity that focuses on supporting Ugandan children whose parents have passed from HIV. They provide healthcare and education to children who need it. Donation is critical to keep this organization active. There are a few different ways to help this organization, from directly donating money to sponsoring a child, by paying monthly for them to go to school and receive medical care. Work is all volunteer, so your money goes strictly to children. Your donation can make a difference in a kid's life. You can donate at Vim's website or ICCF Holland

EDIT

This issue may be due to WebRTC being disabled. WebRTC is required for google meet, but also used for fingerprinting.

Recently I tried to join a google meet meeting in my hardened config firefox browser, and google meet didn't let me in at all. I was confused as hell. I could join only on my phone, but not any of my three computers I tested it on. I then went into a virtual machine with regular firefox(also linux), and the meeting works. The only conclusion I can draw is that google is so desperate for my data that they refuse to service me unless I give them this.

This post intends to inform people that issues with google products may be related to their valid wish for security, and the actions they have taken in pursuit of that. The post also intends to inform people of a solution. The two apps that I recommend are:

  • Jitsi Meet: This is self hosted, but you can also make a meeting with jitsi's own servers. A excellent alternative to google meet, the only reason I didn't use it is that I had issues the day I needed to meet, and had to fall back to google meet instead.
  • Jami: This is a distributed-network chat and video calling app which is open source and a GNU package. It does require an app, but is free and open source and will serve your purpose.****_________
