Kann nur anekdotisch berichten. Bin am ende des masters eines Naturwissenschaftlichen Ingenieur Studiengangs. Die Studierenden die sich wirklich mit dem zeug beschäftigen wollen, kann ich an einer Hand abzählen. Das ist meine härteste Erkenntnis.

just measured it, it takes 2:23 for spaceage on my quadcore laptop with 16gb ram.

TIL: Man kann Elektroschrott beim Verkäufer zurückgeben. Vermutlich nur mit Rechnung? Ist da der Wertstoffhof nicht sehr viel einfacher?

You sound like you would love the only nauvis mod. There are two types. One has no space but the different landscapes of vulcano, gleba and aquilo are distributed in the different cardinal directions. The other one just has the new planets as asteroid belts where you have to fly a ship there to collect, so you don't have any other planet. I really liked the first one to play through. All the new tech, but no hastle with the new planets.

Building such spaceship is crazy. Just got it with a blueprint. Even with that it is really a chore. Never thought it is this complicated 😅.
