He's a liability for other reasons too and would draw the sort of heat on things like Brexit and corruption that they would rather not have have to explain themselves about.

It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of the founding of a political party that aligns with my values and if it all goes tits up with Your Party I'm glad that Greens will be right there. If it all goes tits up with the Greens we will have Your Party. Both are currently prepared to cooperate electorally (and I'll be voting in favour of this as a member) and I think both parties would vote in favour of a coalition if the time came.
