That sounds correct, I think he might have explained it that way but I was too cooked by watching him use a cast saw on his bare hand to retain.
My kid's orthopedist had a saw that was a pizza cutter sized cutting wheel, and it stopped when it touched your skin. He demonstrated on his own hand before he started removing cast.

Regarding Johanna Harrer, a nazi doctor who wrote books about abusing babies to make them compliant. I mod a very very niche emotional support forum, as a community service. It's been absolutely blasted with spam since they went to AI moderation. The whole site is structured and run by volunteers. I don't see them coming back from this.

Oh my lord, and grandma (my mom) comes by during the day and then I get an earful that the teenager sleeps all day it can't be good for him.
Actually it's convenient for me because at least his grumpy self is awake when I am home. He's playing online all night with his tween nephews, his half sister has a new baby so technically he is free babysitting his nephews all night every night till 4am so she can sleep and worry about her newborn most of the day while they are crashed out.
I'm gonna start throttling the internet at 1am, then midnight, then 11 two weeks before school starts.
