Yep, we are now officially the dumbest country.

Still remains to be seen if Elon gets out of state charges though. Or if they’re still willing to withstand wrath for justice. Trump still couldn’t officially do anything about that without unconstitutional threats.

Also, fun fact, since he’s facing state charges of violating state laws, and not federal, Trump couldn’t pardon Elon or get him off the hook even if he does win. At least, not without some corruption involved.

There is no way in hell he will drag it to the next election. Only reason he could do that this time is because they took a very, very long time to build the case, and it was close enough to this election that he could play those cards through Cannon and the Supreme Court.

All the cases are built now, they are ready to go. If he loses twice in a row then his claim of a political “mandate” to anything or that he should be saved for another shot at the presidency is over, and his current scheduled sentencing and further prosecution can begin.

And yes, if he wins, probably none of this will happen.

So go vote against him, everyone.

Not to mention that Elon’s lawyer is making it worse by trying to claim it wasn’t a lottery to begin with. They’re claiming that every paid winner was actually preplanned and a spokesperson, so they’re basically admitting to scamming everyone who signed up for “the lottery.” Also admitting that it wasn’t actually open to every registered voter in a swing state, if they’re now claiming everyone was picked and a paid spokesperson. This is a time delay FAFO.

They can still penalize him and the PAC, make an example of him for next time around, etc. The election being over doesn’t mean Elon’s suddenly in the clear and the legal action is dropped. No different than if Trump loses and ends up back in court again for all the lawsuits he can’t delay any longer for election reasons.

Doesn’t look like he even ruled that far.

“Air homies” are in meditative breathing communities. Not actually that weird.

You need water to make tea.

Nothing wrong with celebrating hydration. It’s the future cornerstone of pissing on Trump’s grave.

These videos were from 4 hours ago and there’s still torrential rain now.

edit: in case anyone is wondering, no, I am not mattweiss

edit: so this is how it’s been going… it rained most of last night, started the morning with flood warnings until 8:30am, then was revised to 11:30am, then again until 7:15pm. It is currently 7:22p, and no end in sight yet.

Part of the problem is a phenomenon called “training”, where instead of storms just passing through, they’ll get stuck on the mountain and will pass over the same areas multiple times like a train on tracks. You just have to hope something eventually changes to blow itself off and away from the track.

The new feature to identify cross posts is great, and understanding that it isn’t perfect, can another be implemented to filter out those posts and just leave the original?

Although now I have to question the inclusion of Interstellar on this list, because it gets pretty far out there as well, especially at the end.

~~It’s worth noting that due to brilliant design decisions, the only way to put different tires on it is to replace the whole wheel.~~ edit: apparently this part was not correct, my apologies for the misinformation

Republican Rep. Jim Jordan keeps trying to insert himself into local law enforcement investigations. His targets keep telling him to go away.

And there’s not much he can do about it.

edit: to clarify, I don’t agree with any of this, I just thought it was funny.

Got my account, logged in and navigated the website at least once every two or three days to get a lay of the land before doing anything with it, still got deleted. At least I assume that's what happened.

Ah, yes, people at Walmart, the trusted demographic known for often being completely oblivious to their own brand of obstruction.

Reposting this as an article since my first one with just the court documents violated rule 1.

I have never seem such unanimous disapproval in the replies. Almost everyone hated that.
