You have clearly never driven a manual transmission, nor have the slightest idea how to. It is not possible to operate a manual transmission without using both feet on the pedals.
Please don't comment authoritatively about things you know nothing about. It just makes us all a little bit worse off.
Well, a billion kilometers is almost 7 times the mean distance between the earth and the sun. Asteroids pass in that distance all the time. We're currently closer to Ceres (the dwarf planet) than that and its on the other side of the sun from us.

Not just the sets but the camera, too. Whedon wanted the audience to feel like they were in the space, so they wouldn't do the usual tricks of removing walls to set the camera up for stuff like hallway shots. If you watch on the longer shots where they move through the ship you can see the actors turn their shoulders slightly when they pass the camera cause they're squeezing around the corner of the hallway.
What, you mean you missed the canonical Fortnite event of Palpatine's voice ringing out across the galaxy? And then felt like you had somehow missed key plot events despite having watched all the movies because you didn't participate in some fad videogame marketed to tweens? So it showing up in the opening crawl felt forced, unimaginative, and honestly just stupid?
Yeah, that sounds like my experience too.
