Stiff and formal, yeah, but it doesn’t give you the sense that hatred is the only possible interpretation.

As a Brit myself, it saddens me how much hate is leeching from my country - especially towards minorities.

As an American, I understand.

To someone who doesn’t know any better, "adult human female” sounds so innocuous. If the rest of the post or comment was carefully phrased, it probably would have gotten past me. Thank you for the clarification.

Okay, I get it. I think you’re right.

What’s a “sound font”?

The hardware store close to my house doesn’t have anything that’s anywhere near this cool.

If it’s against the community rules, it’s either ignorance or deliberate obnoxiousness. When possible, assume ignorance - not everyone is as good as spotting AI slop as you probably are.

If it’s NOT against community rules, then it’s just a matter of personal taste - or, again, ignorance.

This is now one of my favorite uses of this meme format.

I’m SO glad they included “drafted by Florida hypnotist” in the headline. We all just skim headlines sometimes, and that portion speaks volumes.

Ah. You edited your post after I responded to it. Classy.

I don’t make memes, so you can see me however you want.

I was expecting it to be just another post-apocalyptic drama, and I’ve seen so many mediocre ones that Station 11 wasn’t high on my list. I was very wrong.

Station 11 was well written, well cast, and interesting (if confusing at times).

Just about everyone looks better when they smile. It’s true regardless of gender. I don’t see where sexism enters the equation.

I feel pretty oblivious. What am I missing?

Ever have one of those close conversations with some, and walk away thinking “yeh… I’m a good guy” (or whatever pronoun you choose, of course). I just had that happen. It’s a nice, reassuring feeling.

Is it because of the instance they’re posting from, some kind of “award”, or what?
