That seems like a really dangerous precedent to set.

We don't know for sure yet.

For example here is a study seemingly published by the department of subdomains and acronyms: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11773639/

RESULTS

We included 39 studies in the main analysis and 12 in the subgroup analysis. Of these, 2 were longitudinal observational studies, 9 were cross-sectional studies, 1 case report and 27 were cell/in vitro and animal studies. All human studies were conducted in adults, and about half of them had a low risk of bias. No significant incident or prevalent risk of lung cancer or other types of cancer was found in the never smoker current vapers population. However, there was substantial biomarker-based evidence of a significant association between e-cigarette exposure and oxidative stress, cellular apoptosis, DNA damage, genotoxicity, and tumor growth, particularly following acute exposure. We did not find any age or sex-based differences in cancer risk, and findings on race and education-based differences were insufficient.

CONCLUSIONS

There is substantial evidence that e-cigarette exposure is associated with biomarkers reflective of cancer disease risk. However, the overall evidence on cancer risk is still limited and should be further investigated by future research, particularly rigorously designed clinical trials and population-based research.

Either way, purposefully inhaling toxic chemicals is pretty stupid.

but the goal should always be to write as optimal as possible.

Within reason.

Over optimization is a curse on getting done.

Life at stake?

Eh no, not knowing that you should have a backup plan if you want to do stuff like football is far from ruining a whole life.

Let's say that they figure out that football is a no go at 25 or something ridiculous like that, what happens? Nothing. They can just do something else, they can even study and get some good education if they want. Switching careers isn't impossible like you make it out to be. Hell, depending on where you live you might even get paid by the government to get a better education.

Let the kid do football but encourage them to do other stuff too (like getting a good education).

It sounds like you shouldn't buy the switch regardless of cost if you don't want to play any Nintendo games on it.

Small mode? I had completely forgotten that it existed. I didn't know anyone used that.

Who cares? Is it necessary to start these discussions every single time anything Microsoft whatsoever is mentioned? It's just a dumb title likely used because it's hard to come up with titles. Can't we just focus on the actual meme instead or just move on?

They are investigating those issues though so I assume they intend to fix them.

I would be extremely surprised if every single game just worked on the first try.

And do we even know if they wrote it off in the first place? Any WB accountants here?

Yeah, I wish I could print while it's drying.

It's probably possible to modify my solution to allow that but I haven't and I doubt I have the space for it.

Yeah, you should absolutely use a dryer. It's especially important if you want transparent prints since the slightest amount of water makes the print way less transparent.

Mine dryer is the cheaper food dryer I could find plus some 3 printer adapter walls so a filament roll fits.

It works very well and is likely better than many more expensive filament dryers.
