I don't think that's what's happening, here.

This is more as if there are mods for a game engine, and loads of people think the mods are made for one game specifically even though they work on any game using that engine. That would grind my gears as well, to be honest.

On my Linux at home it types nothing but if I press the I key again I get î. I can also do ê, â, ô and û this way.

and doesn’t risk hallucinating

I might be mistaken, but don't these two lines mean the exact opposite in this context?

Is AI more often right, or more often wrong?
