When you give a country weapons you have leverage over them. Trump did fuck up by basically giving up that leverage first, so now it doesn't really matter what they say.

I mean, he was right about what AI was about to do. Expecting everyone to be able to live on $1000/month and not taking about the huge concentrations of wealth and power was the idiotic part.

Same with crypto. You'll get a notification something went down 10%, then up again 10%, but if you zoom out you see it's just been slowly going down on average since the last huge spike.

Looking forward to seeing a bunch of octogenarians trying to figure out Twitter on their phones.

Trackers like the Apple Tag would definitely work better with this.

Yeah, I'm sure there's a privatisation play going on, but there's no way you can actually make money on providing weather forecasts if you're suddenly going to be needing to put weather stations everywhere. I guess they'll just force the government to keep paying for those and just do the forecasting based on the raw data.

I mean, the secretary of state has that power, it's just that in previous administrations they never used it widely. It's another one of those norms that are being broken while still being legal.

If it was focused they'd leave the weather forecast alone and only targeted climate change. Instead they cut everything.

Not loving the design, but that's more of a taste matter. At least the proportions look right for this one.

Yeah, but if Denmark just allows the base to stay open as it is, they risk a Crimea scenario where Russia basically opened the gates of their Sevastopol base and took over the whole Peninsula before anyone could do anything about it.

Hadn't seen the new version, I agree, they made it look more conventional, which is a shame. Still looks good tho.

Yeah, the previous model has the same issue. I don't get how the same company can have a great looking car in the Ioniq 5 at the same time as this thing (and this is supposed to be their more expensive model).
