That's supposed to be the consensus of the "fuck cars" movement, but the name certainly gives the impression of being completely against cars. When your eyes are opened to how car-centric infrastructure has taken over our societies it's hard not to be a bit reactive.

Bake the potato. Add sour cream, chives, and a dash of seeded mustard to the final mix. Bacon bits are optional.

This is how I learned to like a particular subset of potato salad.

I didn't know that at the time, pre-diagnosis, but it's so obvious now.

Cocaine makes absolutely no sense to me. Are you having a good time, letting loose and getting relaxed with friends while enjoying a few beverages? Here, take this substance that will make you disturbingly sober. Everything is clear, level, and so very normal. Fun huh?

At a music festival, actually able to listen to a complete song without my mind wandering... is this why people take stimulants?

Yeah, I've seen it from hypersexual people who seem to have unprocessed shame and need to believe their own behaviour is justified by being a universal human trait. The existence of asexuality threatens that.

It was done in Australia quite a few years back and widely mocked. There was a bit of a bump in "XBox babies", but it was mostly from the kind of people who don't understand that a one-off cash bonus spent on a bigger TV doesn't cover the costs of raising a kid.

That is Trump's demographic, but he's being very optimistic if he thinks these kids will be going to the polls while he's still alive.

I've been seeing a lot of reports lately of white people getting screwed over like this. They all had one thing in common: women traveling without male company.

I planted three blueberry bushes (and a fig tree) a couple of days ago. You have me second guessing myself because I just stuck them in the ground.

In my defence, things grow here with very little work. The tomatoes are fruiting faster than we can pick them.

The main limitation I always had with Strava was limited activities. I know there are off road onewheelers who log their routes as ice skating, for example.

It would also be nice to save points of interest that aren't linear routes. E.g. nice vantage points, businesses that accommodate group rides, public water/toilets/power.

I haven't encountered Brendan yet, but I look forward to yet another reality-bleed.
