I have not verified the validity if those claims. I'll edit the post to reflect that.

The developers who created Lemmy are leftists, and they run the lemmy.ml instance. The lemmy.ml (.ml is for Mali, btw) domain was allegedly chosen because ML can also stand for Marxist-Leninist.
I'm not an expert on the subject, but lemmy.ml users are known for being tankies. People don't like that.
However, some of you whipper snappers don't know that those of us with really old accounts joined back when lemmy.ml was the most popular instance. I just like FOSS things.
Edit: added "allegedly"
Everyone in this thread seems to have brow hair much more tame than mine. I've been plucking my unibrow at least weekly for a decade, and I can tell you that it has never changed.
Look how old my account is. When I joined Lemmy, .ml was the top instance. I'm not a tanky. I am, however, a man who has to tweeze his unibrow frequently.
Nobody tell OP about tweezers.
I've had no problems compressing Blu Ray MKVs into MP4s with handbrake (using MX Linux). My drive is a branded, internal one (I want to say LG or Asus.) I am at work right now, by I can look at the model number when I get home if you want. Interestingly, I have actually used it on both German Blu Rays and North American ones.
Bulbapedia rebranding to Zyarpedia got me. I was thinking "why?" It was also one of the first posts I saw yesterday.
What it would do in case of an accident? May I refer you to the documentary, Final Destination 2?
On the space telescope: we do that in real life. It can take years of observation, because you gotta wait for the planet/body to go in front of the star or complete orbit to fully analyze the wobble. In elite, could could fly to that planet and back in a sidewinder dozens of times in the time it would take you to get an accurate reading. Jus saying.
She's from Alabama. As someone from a neighboring state, I doubt she's heard any jokes. The only time I've never heard the word minge is from South Park.
I get what you mean, but it kinda sounds like you're saying women aren't people.
