Isn't this the image that the person made, while someone else turned it into a story like this (student got mauled) later?
He's trying to add every single bit of gravitas to his order
It's amazing, tbh, one thing I didn't expect from this entire situation is that the judiciary starts to really flex their literary and theatrical muscles in their authority, because while most legal business is rote ritual, they take advantage of that with this, and allow their legal opinions and the weight of their urgency to be seen
It gives me a little hope
It's basically a form of shock/surprise humor in most cases; the cropped out bottom text says something absolutely unhinged, or expected, and to read it, you'll have to try hard
That way, text hits unexpectedly because you can't "pre-read" the cropped text and get a gist while you start reading the whole thing, creating a suspense when you do read it after you've read the rest
Oh shit
Was watching a video of Greg's economics lately (I didn't know who he was until a random video), am Dutch, so when he said that the movement of thinking bout wealth tax was gaining traction, I couldn't verify it, and his confidence was kinda turning me off
But this is very interesting, fucking hell, I didn't know this. Now let other countries take note of this, so that we can accelerate our own research into this
Do you hear music?
What kind of implementations do you mean? The last time I heard of such a thing (a few years ago), it was fixed within a few hours, and was on a dev instance
And ofc this ruling will not be protested or opposed as much as the last one will be
The courts have prepared for expedited process for election cases, shortening deadlines and speeding up cases, so hopefully it should cut short legal schenanigans, and actually resolve shit wayyy before certification deadlines
Europe hasn't politically recovered from the last few refugee crises, nor have national collectives been able to properly integrate or adjust to the fact they're there, it's been ran as a pressure point, and adding even more pressure will certainly enable those politicians to hit this button with greater effect.
I don't fucking understand why no European leader is looking at what Israel is doing with realpolitik and go "why the fuck are you creating another migrant crisis", unless that is exactly what they want, to get power for themselves. Urgh.
I love the Big Short
