I'm confused about the tone and content of your reply. Are you suggesting that someone can read, but only as long as the information being collected isn't a source of information? Also, I'm not sure where the idea that those writers are crackpot came from.
My sibling in FSM, solid props to you for not just deleting your comment, but rather admitting your mistake and leaving it up with the edit. The world needs more of that kind of energy.
