I was looking for any news on whether the Flip 2 will support Linux in the way that the Retroid Pocket 5 and Mini do. I couldn't find any information on it. So I asked a Retroid employee and they said that it only supports Android.

I personally don't have that problem. The option does note that it will occasionally charge to 100% for calibration purposes.

I'm not sure if it's a grand strategy game, but Freeciv is similar to older Civ games.
That being said, Beyond All Reason (BAR) and Zero-k are Total Annihilation inspired and have a lot of work put in them. Definitely worth a try!
