Key phrase is "big city". I'm a staff and there's a mid on my team that moved to Seattle. His cost of living adjustment when he moved allows him to make more than I do.

My only complaint is the lack of ultra wide support. Steam guides recommended a third party app called Fullscreenizer which fixes it, but it makes my PC run incredibly hot. Dropping to lowest settings at 60 fps pushes my temps to the max in certain areas.

If you're going to go split you should really go ortholinear. Check out zsa moonlander or zsa voyager as good intro options.

Edmund has said he specifically did this on purpose. There's no singular game winning item. The power comes from combinations. He added passives and items that seem boring at face value but get better when synergizing with something else.

With all that said I think the breeding is what will make runs broken. Good items will be an unnecessary cherry on top when your cats are overpowered from the start.

I think it's less of a monopoly and more of the fact that they won the market share game. I could buy all my games somewhere else but I don't know why I would do something so stupid.

And no doubt an optimized version of the game will exist but only at the enterprise level for streaming providers.

Imagine feeling threatened by cartoon boobies.

First they came for the hentai but I did not speak out because I'm not a weeb....

For a really long time I never thought I'd do more than one gold stake. That first one was the only completionist feeling one to me.

I later discovered Dr. Specter's Balatro University and also watched a lot of Major League Balatro. I learned a ton and thought that maybe I'd give harder stakes another try. There's a lot of dopamine to be had in applying theoretical knowledge to overcome something you previously thought was nearly impossible.

Black stake is a whole other beast though. Dr. Specter himself says if you really want to beat it you should be prepared to reset over and over for hours on end.

Black deck is my last gold stake and I feel exactly the same way.

One European vendor I've had good experiences with is Falba Tech.

Redox was my first split keyboard from them. Looks like they're doing cornes now. The pre builts have really high quality bamboo or wood cases.

+1 for Balatro.

I'm one. It's hard work but well worth it.
