Oooh! Thanks for the hot tip!

Absolutely agree! I very much hope for the same with the democrats down south, but I am not getting my hopes up at all on that count. Up here I see a batter path for that.
I’m ok with this. I’ve voted NDP every election except for one, to remove Harper and get proportional representation. I’ve been very worried about vote splitting letting PP win so this feels to me like his way of broadcasting that it’s ok to vote liberal if that’s what we need to do. I’m lucky that I’m in a fairly secure NDP riding, but I will be voting strategically if needed. I think Carney will do a good job, and the NDP can be the push from the left to influence him, and honestly that’s not a bad place to be in. These are weird and uncertain times, we need a major trouncing of the cons, however that looks. Very much like when I voted liberal the last time, only way more extreme! He sees the writing on the wall and I just hope they retain enough seats to make a difference.
Yessss, you’re spot on about refusing to be cold to look good. I used to always say as I saw the people downtown in the winter going out to the bars with barely anything on, style knows no temperature. If that’s the case then I’m the most unstylish person ever!
Goth-lite (no makeup or dresses), hippy, grown up grunge (with a bit of cyberpunk). My wardrobe is a palette of greys, black, and dark jewel tones, with bright pops of colour, usually the accessory. Like mustard yellow wool scarf or cherry red gum boots. I definitely like a utilitarian look, but with a twist. For example, my steel toed boots look like leather converse high tops. Prioritize comfortable over fashionable always lol. Lots of natural fibers, I don’t like the feel of synthetic fibers on my skin but do have fleeces and outerwear that are synthetic.
It’s taken me a long time to be comfortable in what I wear, really enjoying it now.
Edit: I keep thinking of different words haha
I like to be prepared!! The fountain pen gets used mostly for writing in my planner, or little sketches. TBH, I don’t use it as much as the bic though. It’s ridiculous, but I don’t want to mess it up and I’m hard on things.
Bags with pockets haha. Seriously though, just having a bunch of small bags that are specific to what’s inside them. Then I can just grab the bags I need and off I go.
I like being able to help someone if they need something, I don’t even use tampons or pads, but other people do.
My main bag is an old sling bag with keys, wallet, phone, hair ties, pens (four colour bic, sharpie, and fountain), vape, folded up shopping bag, rolaids, mini tape measure, two crystals, headphones, fisherman’s friends, vape coil, nicotine patch, vape juice, protein bar. And two lip balms that I never use. And my leatherman would be in there too if I hadn’t of lost it!
This bag goes in a larger bag that holds water bottle, travel mug, planner, iPad, kobo, little toiletry bag (pill bottle (melatonin, ibuprofen, Tylenol, Benadryl, adhd meds), tampon, pads, menstrual cup, tea bags, lighter, emergen-c, hair ties, vape coils, nicotine patches), big headphones, spare vape, protein bar, sunglasses
Sometimes that bag will go in a larger bag (like a basket) to hold other extra stuff, like lunch (in its own bag), vitamins, snacks, extra books. I sorted it all out like Russian nesting bags haha. I travel for work so switch things up a lot, and with everything in its own place I don’t forget stuff. If I’m just running in the store then I grab the sling, if I’m heading into work, then next bag up. If I need a backpack I can move stuff around easy.
I have a separate backpack/bag for my laptop, work binders, and tech bag. The tech bag has a ton of pockets and holds all the different cables, wall wart, usb mouse, hard drive, usb hub, extra headphones, adapters, sd cards, pens, business cards, and ferry tickets. I love that bag.
Yes I know I’m horribly addicted to nicotine. Also, I don’t care if someone goes in my bag(s), provided I know they’re doing it of course.
Edit: after reading more of the responses to the question I have to say, this is mainly because I travel so much, and I happen to be on the road right now. If I was at home it would be just the sling!
For sure! After you steam them form them into little logs (ngl, they look like little shits) and freeze them. Then when you’re making a soup or curry or whatever, just throw one in.
Vaultwarden! That’s the name, thank you, I had forgotten. Well, getting the server up and running is next week’s job so I will add that in. Cheers!
What did you switch to from Bitwarden, if you don’t mind me asking.
I really love that you did that. I hope some kid (or an adult that’s a kid at heart) found it! Imagine how stoked they were!
