I don't have the link, but I read somewhere that this was actually part of the Project 2025 plan, to use sockpuppet accounts and bots to drown online discourse and prevent anyone messaging that hurts the movement from picking up steam and going viral. (Althougj the strategy is probably different on platforms they control, like Twitter and maybe Reddit)

over the ineternet, of course. not in person.

Duh. I would never get between a lion and his meal.

Whatever crazy thing it is you're planning to do, just remember the shooting in Pennsylvania. That gave the Trump campaign so much credibility that it might have even won him the election. Even my neighbor replaced the American flag on his lawn with one showing Trump's face with a bloody ear. The GOP message is that there's a conspiracy/evil cabal trying to undermine America, and they're the good guys.

Large scale peaceful protests showing that America disagrees with their nonsense is much more powerful than any well-placed bullet. The former can lead to change and possibly even impeachments, the latter to civil war, death, and destruction.

Those are bots. The majority of MAGA supporters probably don't even remember their account passwords.

Ignore those sheeps. I CAN HEAR YOU ROAR!

i’d rather you realize what it takes to win

Let me guess, guns? This is your moment to be the man you always knew you could be, to put on your Walmart tacticool gear and engage in gorilla warfare on the streets, to rise up the ranks of the resistance where you'll meet your 18-21 year old boyfriend-free girl and when it's all over, you'll be elected the mayor of America, and you'll add ANOTHER amendment saying we all have the right to bear arms (as a backup in case the other one gets repealed), and you'll even show leniency to those people who downvoted your internet comments because you're such a good person, and America is all that matters now.

I salute you, friend.

If you can find one with a removable battery.

The only path to redemption for him is to confess his role in stealing the 2024 presidential election, help bring Trump and his cronies to justice, and serve his own prison sentences for all the crimes he and his DOGE lackeys committed against the American people.

Legend.

She'll probably get fired, deported to Palestine, and ultimately killed by her own code, but she did the right thing.

He just needs to start wearing a MAGA hat at his court appearances.

"perfect emulation"

With a setup like this, you can keep moving the goal post until you win all your little internet arguments. Personally, I'm not a fanboy for neither Nintendo nor Valve, so I really don't care to get into this kind of atgument.

My point is that there's no reason to think the Switch 2 can't be emulated on the Deck, at least not until we get more information.

I think the current Steam Deck will not be able to achieve (it doesn’t even have such resolutions)

The Steam Deck supports 4k60 just fine, just not on the built-in display ofc.

Hi, recent firefox refugee here, and I'm trying to figure out how to get webgl fully working. I already disabled webgl.disabled in about:config, and that seems to have done the trick for most webgl content.

However, the site noclip.website doesn't work. It's basically a 3D model viewer for game maps, and all I get is a black screen. This site works fine in Firefox on this same machine.

I'm using LibreWorld 135.0.1-1 Flatpak on Linux

Thanks!

EDIT:

Here are the log messages in the console. No errors, just a bunch of WebGL warnings:

The mastodon and lemmy content I’m seeing feels like 90% of it comes from people who are:

  • ~30 years old or older

  • tech enthusiasts/workers

  • linux users

There’s nothing wrong with that particular demographic or anything, but it doesn’t feel like a win to me if the entire fediverse is just one big monoculture.

I wonder what it is that is keeping more diverse users away? Is picking a server/federation too complicated? Or is it that they don’t see any content that they like?

Thoughts?
