They are Nazis. Nazis believe that anyone who isn't a productive cog in their industrial and military machine doesn't deserve to live. The USA needs to overthrow this Nazi regime before they start the mass exterminations.

The Pixel 7 will receive OS updates from Google until October 2027, and the Pixel 6a until July 2027. So they both have more than two years of support left. I think the period of Graphene OS support matches Google support.

It's amazing how the US border police were just completely ready to start imprisoning people or turning them away for any hint of criticism of Trump. All he needed to do was give the word and they were right on it without hesitation.

On the plus side, we all still know Israel is a country run by fascists, conducting a genocide with the approval of most of the population, using an army that perpetrates the most horrific war crimes against civilians every day. So their propaganda is of limited effectiveness.

Yes, the key thing about fascism is that the list of enemies must always be growing. Anyone who thinks they're safe doesn't realize this. Sooner or later each of us will be on the list.

They want to destroy that department. So they put someone who is dumb and hostile to education in charge.

Or people who aren't cis enough or straight enough, or anyone who makes a Republican man feel confused in his pants.

Probably every angry Republican donor in the tech industry.

There’s a real risk that hundreds of people sent to a brutal prison camp will never be free.

Henrry Jose Albornoz Quintero was scheduled to attend an immigration court hearing in El Paso Thursday. He didn’t. The immigration judge presiding over his case was not happy.

“He just disappeared? What happened?”

The Trump administration lawyer either could not say — or would not.

“All I can disclose at the moment is that he’s no longer in ICE custody,” the lawyer said, according to the notes of Albornoz Quintero’s attorney, who attended the hearing.

You have to factor in the cost of living under a fascist autocracy too, where you can get kidnapped and sent to a secret prison for life because you didn't respect the leader enough, even though the leader is a corrupt moron. Which is a pretty damn high cost, and $10,000 doesn't even begin to balance it out.

I think it's more about galvanizing and focusing some actual opposition to Trump, and making it more difficult for him to do what he wants to do.
