Wind turbines, not wind mills. Also: I'm going to take a guess here and assume that Hays Ks is in USA?

Excellent use of Goomba

It sounds like this is a change (at least for Tesla), that Chinese state media should report so negatively about Tesla.

On the other side of the Pacific, I don't expect that fox news is particularly flattering about Chinese EVs. But China is a massive market for Tesla, and it has stood up well while the European market has cratered for them. So this change in stance is potentially significant.

Or, it could be just a single article that we shouldn't read too much into.

Essential because it weakens the EU

The FY2025 vs FY2024 numbers were plenty damning. Comparing January 2026 to previous Januaries is kinda silly given how much monthly fluctuation there is, and how few markets actually report on Monthly numbers

If Scotland is the only nation doing this, then I would support removing funding for this. It is not a medical procedure. It is a religious procedure that can lead to health issues if done improperly, but then so is ear piercing.

I quite enjoyed this episode showing some maintenance work (motor oil changes, suspension wear and tear, brake disc skimming) of a high mileage, low cost EV.

My bad. Carry on!

This post is not about ICE or PHEV. And definitely not about comparing ICE to PHEV.

Odd that it's only a problem in the USA.

Even better, it's 17.4% for EU, but this increases to 19.5% if including UK and EFTA

Overall Tesla Sales in CA (By Unit) 2023: 238,589 2024: 202,865 2025: 179,656

I guess it's hard to see the amount of Teslas that weren't bought, which might otherwise have been bought were it not for the whole "I hate Musk" thing. But while EV sales were growing in CA, Tesla sales were falling.

It often feels like EV fires make major headlines while ICE vehicle fires go under reported despite being order of magnitude more likely and common. Nice to see an ICE vehicle fire actually making media headlines for a change.

All seem like welcome changes, but the price for the specs is still the sticking point for me, compared to BMW ix3 announced pricing anyway.

I still struggle to see this competing with BMW iX3 as a value proposition
