I don't get this....take the auto industry Trump tariffs foreign cars, so some automakers setup in USA to manufacture, the rest of the world moves on.....USA now makes cars but can only sell them in the USA......not enough demand to sustain the auto makers...Manufacturers start buying each other out in USA........left with 1 or 2 big makers........the rest of world no longer cares and has detached from USA markets in general (or equally tariffs USA goods).....USA sits isolated and falling behind. Now expand this to other industries.

OK I ask as I had an issue which was very similar to what your experiencing, eg. Not always turning off or sleeping instead etc.

I found a solution for me and it was by altering the nvidia-sleep.sh file. From memory I had to insert an _exit 0 () at the top. After doing this never had an issue until nvidia did a driver update.

usr/bin/nvidia-sleep.sh needs to still be deactivated by an immediate exit. Add a line just after the bash header line to cause immediate exit 0 (ie success) from the script:

#!/bin/bash exit 0

This is a link I found. Down around half way.

Do you have an Nvidia GPU installed?

i for one wouldn't mind if we wholesale banned social media altogether if it couldn't play by Australia's rules.

It's weird because Starlink hasn't been around that long that we should have become reliant on it yet.

They will once you've paid your Wildfire Protection subscription, but only the premium level package. If just your basic subscription package they'll poor gas on it instead.

Because education has failed, because religion has lied, because social media has been allowed to run free, and because nation states have helped in all of these aspects. And then we had greedy people take advantage.

Considering the 'looseness' of the specific date, I find it odd that some cling so hard to it's significance, the feeling of having to change it seems to much to bear for some. It would possibly be better to use Federation day ( although that date is inconvenient for a public holiday) or another day chosen from a selection in a referendum or similar. While we stoke divisive fires this will never change. Personally change the date I can adapt and if it makes some happy what do I care, I just want the day off.

Hmm Sorry I don't know exactly, but check out their website and see if it suits your purpose. I don't use them myself so they may be there but overlooked on my part.

This is how I did it, after I put all of my music in jellyfin without thinking. At the end there was one or two artists/albums I couldn't get to convert properly.
