Thanks! I corrected the title. Good to know it's also on Steam.

From a game design perspective, this is a fine example of how to set up progression, all done at various levels -- the abilities, the opponents, the character stories, and the location reveals. Not too difficult in game mechanics but does take time to complete. From Google Play.

Caution / spoilers: some stories touch on death and suicide, and there are some creepy visuals and characters. Be aware when letting kids play, as you may need to give them some guidance.

Silence will fall.

An older title which I missed the first time around but recently discovered. Makes one think about how subways are designed.

LEGO comes to mind. Not cheap, but definitely knows how to keep a healthy and active relationship with their customers.

I enjoyed it a lot when I got it a few years ago. It's quite a gem, actually, either as a standalone story or as an expansion to A New Hope.

There are some nuanced differences. Han Solo came across as more ruthless than the easygoing version of the movies, which made his change of heart more meaningful. The interludes on Alderaan give more background to the rebellion as well as amplify Leia's loss. Darth Vader's torture scene with Leia was intense.

Overall, it has the feel of an old time Flash Gordon serial.

Those are some pretty old soldiers in the picture.

I'm only partly kidding. I do play from time to time, but not as much as I thought I would, hence the "regret". Nostalgia is a powerful drug.

Dance Dance Revolution.

(Do you feel old now?)

You can't "flood the channels", not if there's someone who controls what you can say and hear. That's the whole point of the dictatorship analogy.

Made by the missus.

We grew the plant by accident, and while the usual harvest is just a handful at a time, they taste really fresh and great.

Edit: Thanks for the attention to this post. There's a lot of insistence that these are jalapenos and not bell peppers. They are in fact bell peppers, for the following reasons:

  1. They're sweet and not spicy.
  2. Jalapenos tend to have a more elongated shape.
  3. Green jalapenos tend to have a much brighter color.

I'm also in Southeast Asia so our pepper varieties are different.

Hope this helps!

Happy New Year!
