Historically a lot of R voters would've considered voting D if they'd just stop trying to disarm the working class, but D leadership more and more seems to be the party of, "we know what's best for you" elitism. But the open border policies really hurt D's popularity. R voters don't consider themselves racist or anti-inmigration, they just want affordable housing and instead of blaming late stage capitalism, they blame policies that lured over ten million refugees in one presidential term.

I bought right after the lockdown. Six months later I was being offered more for my car used than I paid for it new. I'm still driving it, and it's been paid off for quite awhile, three year loan.

Yeah I do OS installs for other people all the time but my main PC is a hot mess and I run a bunch of problematic software including VR. I'll probably end up setting up a dual boot of Win11 & Linux and avoid Windows as much as possible. But I will procrastinate because I already use both OS's on other PCs so I know what to expect. I'll put it off as long as possible, hoping they postpone. Never do today what you can put off til next year :)

I work serving the homeless. We spent $10 billion for one year during COVID just to include all of the students who didn't already get free school meals to have it during that time. Unless you're only providing cots and Porto-johns, that number might work as an annual figure, until inflation hits, or the numbers go up because once you offer free housing, more people will try to become eligible.
