He seems to have this the wrong way around.

The world is the store, and he's just some person outside its front door, holding out his hand and asking US customers for 5 bucks for every item they want to go home with.

I think the complexity of nuke subs is only justified if you also have nukes. They are ideal for a crew to go out with a complement of 16 nukes to loiter in the unknown depths for 6 months. They're just out there as a deterrent to let your enemies know that Very Bad Things will suddenly happen to a few of their major cities if they want to try to lob a few nukes first.

Other than that particular purpose, they are quite a costly way to just go out and patrol your territory. That whole nuclear supply chain is ridiculously expensive if you don't already have one set up for other nuke stuff. Drop that expense and you can get quite a lot more hardware for your money.

, strategic direction will be soon available

"All will be revealed after the election! Just vote for us!"

Seriously, they have had three years in opposition, a huge build up when "everyone knows" there's an election to be called soon, and yet..... somehow , they're pretty light on all the details on how exactly they're going to do all this stuff that they claim they're going to do.

At least the Greens can back their policies with numbers and details, even if you disagree with them. Dutton and Co, it's just a lot of spooky handwaving and "oooo Labor baaaad! Vote for us! We'll fix it by mumble mumble"

Added rant: Trumpet Of Patriots promising so much bullshit with nary a scrap of evidence or reasoning on exactly HOW they're going to do any of it.

Again,

Ha! Welcome to corporate

There is a catchphrase in corporate - "Minimum viable product" and it means just that, memory leaks and all.

AEC does a good job of nudging people into getting their enrolment details organised. I changed addresses a little while ago, and it was 30 seconds online to update, with confirmation a few days later via SMS and email.

My son ordered me a cube with a bit of silver from the US, it's part of a periodic table set.

It was delayed a little, and when it arrived at his door there was a little note from Australian customs basically saying, "This is cool and everything, but don't go ordering the radioactive elements from this place unless you have all the right paperwork, ok?"

Change your thought patterns. Minimise their actions in your mind.

They are not "psychopaths", they are just "idiots".

They do not "counterattack", there is no "attack" from your side. They are just "being a nuisance". Frame all the bumps and thumps as renovations if you want.

When they make a noise, turn UP your tv, just a little, so you can hear it over it. "Gee those renovations of theirs are a bit noisy, maybe I should put in a complaint."

When they rattle the ceiling of their apartment, "Hey it must be time to vacuum, thanks for reminding me. I'll do it now while you're renovating and making noise so it doesn't disturb you too much".

"I hear that plants respond to music so I'm just going to leave some on for Ferris, my pot plant, while I go out shopping for a few hours this morning" - Not too loud, just loud enough for Ferris to enjoy it. If you hear a lot of thumping it must be just them taking the opportunity to renovate while you can't hear them. I do hope they don't damage their ceiling with all that thumping while you're out, oh well.

All that activity on their part takes a lot of energy, your activities take very little. Which one do you think is going to end first?

but they're really not providing any substance for anything.

As mentioned by someone else:

"If you don't know, vote no."

If it seems stupid, that just means that it was cheaper to do it this way.

Program ROM/EEPROM + RAM, or just RAM connected to a USB interface with a reset line tied to the camera processor? See the USB device ID connect , fill the ram with the camera software, toggle processor reset , off you go.

It's only a matter of time before Google borks the fine grained notification system in Android in the quest to serve you more ~~ads~~ information to enhance your life.

Apps get one chance with me. As soon as I get an unsolicited notification begging me to interact with them, that's it, 100 percent silenced.

Aldi has a presence in Australia in major cities, they are generally seen as an alternative to the major duopoly of Coles and Woolworths.
