This is fantastic; makes Godzilla feel more like an Old God in the vein if C'thulhu.

That is a honey badger

We had a huuuuuge rooster when we first started keeping chickens that fought off large dogs on multiple occasions. Unfortunately he fought off the wife and the kids a few times as well, so he had to go.

He got after my 4 year old son once and pecked a hole in his shoulder before I got to him, but when I kicked him it was like kicking a bag of concrete. It hurt my foot enough I was sure I had killed him but he got up and walked off like nothing happened.

So they're saying it's not any more dangerous than hot branding.

Go to amazingribs.com and check out the bbq sauce recipes - a not-as-sweet honey mustard sounds like you'd dig Columbia Gold. Might dig Alabama White Sauce if you like mayo.

As far as things to go on them, you might try nopalitos instead of pickles.

This was gyros, so completely different recipe; I would do a pineapple for al pastor though

I got a new Weber 26" mastertouch to replace my busted 18" kettle; paired with a Vortex coal-thing and an al pastor spit I rocked chicken gyros tonight.

What are industry best practices for this stuff? Do you want a separate fabric for dev and prod? Just separate zones?

My company doesn't connect any fabrics (1 switch=1fabric) and it seems inefficient and a giant pain in the ass, as we move hosts around like we're getting paid for it. What do all of you do?

I hate the prep work for these but it always ends up being worth it.

I've got 4 10-ish lb pork butts in the smoker for a party on the 4th and I'm about to fire up the grill for some ribeyes; we have two briskets in the fridge I'm gonna start on Tuesday morning, so I'm getting my mileage outta Weber this week!

FOS emulation (lemmy.world)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by databender@lemmy.world to c/sysadmin@lemmy.ml

I started a new job as a systems engineer not too long ago and am looking for a way to get comfortable with FOS as I've never had to manage FC switches before. Anyone know of a way to emulate it, or should I just resign myself to buying an old switch on ebay and throwing it in the rack?
