He empowered people to recycle 625,000 of their own batteries. This wasn't waste cleanup, it was waste prevention. His nonprofit organization provided battery recycling bins and signs in visible, convenient locations. People otherwise may not have known where, how, or even why they should recycle their batteries.

Literally every adventure where we have to enter a potentially dangerous castle/mansion/tower. We're going to climb or fly up to a higher level window because obviously if there's a trap or ambush, it'll be at the front door.

combat should be an RP experience.

I agree with you.

The Three Pillars of Adventure: Combat, Exploration, Social Interaction.

These are ALL "RP" and they should all be performed in-character and creatively.

It's Mr. Mertle's impossibly strong mastiff, Hercules. But the goblins only know it as "The Beast."

What lies? What "dirty work?" They're not giving the kids a script. The assignment is to either make an educational video about why young people shouldn't use THC (do you not agree that minors shouldn't use THC?), OR share a personal anecdote about how marijuana use has affected them or someone they know.

You say it sounds desperate, but to me it looks like a way to catch kids' attention and get more young people thinking about this. Submit a skit, get a gift card, be engaged in the conversation. Maybe learn something new. What's so exploitative about that?

Is it automatically "propaganda" to suggest that there's anything unsafe about marijuana or that kids shouldn't use it?

I'm pro-legalization (because criminalization does much more harm than good) but why are you all acting like this is a bad thing? Especially considering that the campaign is specifically advocating against YOUTH consumption of marijuana? We can all agree that children and adolescents shouldn't consume marijuana, right? Just because it shouldn't be criminalized doesn't change the fact that weed is a habit-forming drug that impairs memory, concentration, and reflexes. It absolutely CAN be dangerous.

As a vegetarian, eggs are actually a significant component of my protein intake. They are (were) cheap, they're extremely versatile, they can be fried, scrambled, poached, hard-boiled, made into egg salad, used in sauces, used in baked goods, their taste is neutral enough to combine with an endless variety of other flavors...

One thing I've noticed is that the price of the free-range pasture-fed eggs I've always purchased has only slightly increased, while the price of the factory-farmed eggs has skyrocketed. Hmm, it's almost like chickens have more resistance to communicable diseases like avian flu when we prioritize their health and don't pack them into an extremely cramped barn or cages...

Of course, I would sooner go without eggs altogether than buy the factory-farmed eggs. When the free-range eggs were sold out a few weeks ago I bought a plant-based egg scramble substitute. It wasn't very good, but it's always worth it to try something new.

I have a lot of respect for those who have the self-discipline to be vegan. I've tried to reduce my dairy and egg intake and it turned out to be a lot more difficult than quitting meat.

I love a crust with a good strong yeasty, sourdough-like flavor if that's what you're describing. How was the texture?

The pie looks great!

How did you get her to offer to join? I don't mind spoilers, I'm already a few playthroughs deep

I was so eager that I almost forgot to take a picture...!

Got some pizza disks for Christmas. Makes it so much easier to cook a good hand-stretched pizza crust in my home oven.

Pepperoni for my wife; mushrooms and onions for me. A blend of mozz, Muenster, and feta on both.

The sauce is a blend of refried beans and chunky salsa. The cheese is a mix of Mexican-style shredded cheese and crumbled queso fresco. Topped with fresh cilantro and lightly-crushed nacho cheese Doritos after baking.

Inspired by my local Casey's convenience store.

Cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, red onion, basil, balsamic vinegar. It was thick and messy enough to eat with a fork and knife, but damn it was delicious.

Not my best example of a pizza. It started out as "caprese salad and focaccia" and I figured why not combine them. It was too tasty not to share.
