  • Why does the USA love Israel so much?

U.S. politicians love Israel for their campaign contributions.

“Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor”

Every election year is the year you should vote for “other candidates” in the primaries.

That is how you work to reshape a party you’re not happy with.

Luckily primary season is here now so go make your voice heard!

They take some getting used to but I absolutely adore mine. I don’t find mine to be noisy but I’ve also found mine has help reduce the amount of repositioning I do at night.

Hey States - FYI - if you don’t work for the Executive branch, executive orders don’t apply to you…

Sure - if their point was “fascists have always been fascists” then I agree; who wouldn’t? But that’s not what the article or discussion was about.

Republicans were not always Nazis

They kinda always have been. Did everyone just forget about the Ku Klux Klan? What about the 1920s Eugenics movement?

Before the Southern Strategy(c.1960s), klansmen, etc… were more likely to be Democrats than Republicans.

The people have always existed (by various names). I think this is more an inspection of the party itself’s shift

Guessing it’s an attempt to mask the girls identity. The article does make it pretty clear the accuser was an underaged girl who lived with him.

Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota formally announced her campaign for governor on Thursday with a call for unity and decency in her troubled state, which has been roiled by political violence, President Trump’s immigration crackdown and widespread protests after two killings of Minnesotans by federal agents.

Ms. Klobuchar, a popular Democrat with a history of winning by double-digit margins, has spent nearly two decades in the Senate as a common-sense centrist with a folksy demeanor and a carefully cultivated history of bipartisanship.

Now, with her run for governor, the self-proclaimed “senator next door” is gambling that her message of moving past partisan divides can still work even amid one of the most volatile domestic conflicts of the second Trump administration.

With Tim Cook’s persistent support of the Trump administration and mealy mouthed finger-wagging regarding ICE, consider joining me and others in voting against TIm’s position on Apple’s board of directors.

A federal judge ordered agents not to retaliate against people “engaging in peaceful and unobstructive protest activity” in the state and not to stop drivers who are not “forcibly obstructing” officers.

U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis, a North Carolina Republican, forcefully rebutted comments from one of the top officials in the Trump administration about a potential American takeover of Greenland, an idea that has been floated since Trump returned to the Oval Office.

Tillis, who is not running for another term, called comments made by Deputy White House Chief of Staff Stephen Miller “insane” and “amateur hour.” In an interview, Miller said “the formal position of the US government” is that Greenland should be part of the United States.

Greenland is part of Denmark, a European ally and fellow member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Tillis is a staunch defender of the NATO alliance.

“By turning around and making insane comments about how it is our right to have territory owned by the, the kingdom of Denmark, folks, amateur hour is over,” Tillis said from the Senate floor Tuesday. “You don't speak on behalf of this U.S. senator or the Congress.”

A veteran jazz ensemble and a New York dance company have canceled events at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, intensifying the fallout at one of the nation’s pre-eminent arts centers after it was renamed to include President Trump.

The center had previously promoted two New Year’s Eve performances by the Cookers as an “all-star jazz septet that will ignite the Terrace Theater stage with fire and soul.” But those performances, like an annual Christmas Eve jazz concert hosted by Chuck Redd, are now canceled.

The Cookers did not give a reason for the decision in a statement on Monday that said, “Jazz was born from struggle and from a relentless insistence on freedom: freedom of thought, of expression, and of the full human voice.”

But the band’s drummer, Billy Hart, told The New York Times that the center’s name change had “evidently” played a role. He acknowledged that the group was concerned about possible reprisals.

Folks - I need help.

I bought the UDR7 router during the Black Friday sale just to see what the hype was about and since then I’ve already placed multiple orders for hundreds of dollars of equipment. As we speak I have a cart full of over a thousand dollars more equipment that I’m on the cusp of submitting and and there is no end in sight.

If there is anyone out there who can talk me out of this rabbit hole I fear this may be the last chance for salvation

My name is ccunning and I’m a Unifi-holic…
