Last Friday an NC court ruled that 60,273 voters from last year’s State Supreme Court election have 15 business days to fix their registration and make sure their vote is counted.

I have created a WNC community and would like to invite all Southern Highlanders over to contribute. All are welcome. I post content every day, if possible. If you are in WNC and you have an event you want people to attend, just post it.

I finally voted yesterday. I got in line at 3:25pm and it took just over an hour on day 4 of early voting.

Anyway, I got curious about how the various voting methods got counted in North Carolina so I looked it up and thought I’d share!

Nestled in the Appalachian mountains, the community of Spruce Pine, population 2,194, is known for its hiking, local artists and as America’s sole source of high-purity quartz. Helene dumped more than 2 feet of rain on the town, destroying roads, shops and cutting power and water.

Forty-three percent of likely November voters support Jackson and 36% support Bishop, with 21% undecided, according to the poll of 676 likely voters, which was released Tuesday. The gap has widened significantly since March, when a previous WRAL News Poll showed Jackson with a 41%-to-40% lead over Bishop

After my last post I realized I hadn’t seen any polling for the AG race, so I went looking and this is what I found.

This is a couple weeks old so take it with a grain of salt
