I'm expecting someday they will correlate the list of people who purchased cannabis with those who also purchased guns, and then it's off to gitmo or some other camp or black site with they ones that don't fit into their world. It might be years away since they're going after soft targets who won't shoot back first, but I think the day will come.

In my experience places with lax safety protocols just keep getting worse, the safety minded people quit and only those who crack jokes about OSHA and think a safety meeting is smoking a bowl in the parking lot stick around. Can't imagine too many people who prioritize workplace safety would want to work at a dynamite plant, I sure wouldn't.

These days I legally conceal and carry nearly everywhere, so I probably won't be attending. Putting myself unarmed in that environment doesn't seem like a great idea. I do not want to be the guy who shoots an innocent person.

Mine hasn't changed at all that I've noticed. A few weeks ago the range safety officer was telling me he has never played a video game and video games make children violent. I invited him out to play some pinball, he declined. Customs and Border Patrol has been shooting there for decades. This time of year it's a lot of old white guys zeroing their deer rifles.

Yeah, there are always some. I use a "hidden" network and don't broadcast my SSID so I keep it simple and easy to enter in on any device. Had a neighbor in the past who was nice enough and I let him use my wifi but then I turned into his tech support, fuck that. If the neighbors don't see my broadcasting they won't ask. Besides I keep as much as I can hardwired, it's just better.
