China creates more orbital debris than every other country combined, so they had this coming. If we're going to experience Kessler syndrome, it'll be because of them.
It's not but people tend to vote for a couple of large parties, even in countries with pluralist voting systems. What we're seeing now is half the votes going to the far right and the other half to a left that's careless with the currency. They need a new left ideology, honestly. Protectionism isn't the way.
Honestly, when the alternative is going back to peronism with 200% inflation, I can empathize with that choice. Personally I would have voted for a smaller party that aligned better with me but I can understand their fear of going back to peronism.
I think that article is not well researched. Devaluing the currency causes inflation (in Argentina's case), not the opposite. In fact, Milei did not sufficiently devalue the peso, because devaluing further would have caused more inflation. It's exactly because he did not sufficiently devalue that the peso is now in crisis.
I don't know about the other ones, but under Milei housing listings have become cheaper, when adjusted for inflation.
I had fault in my server this summer and my local bitwarden app wouldn't work without the connection. Same in my laptop, if the connection is blocked by the firewall it doesn't let me load the vault at all.
I feel like Google Photos -> TrueNAS is too vague, TrueNAS is just an operating system, and it's creator, iXsystems, is American so it doesn't fit here at all.
My solution is Immich running on a docker container in OpenMediaVault. OpenMediaVault is German and Immich is multinational FOSS.
