I would genuinely love to ride that bus. Unironically sick af

Cool.

Sort of looks like the guy is corrupted by evil red electric circuits to me, though you probably intended it to be some sort of spiritual corruption.

If short form media is twitter takes and 60 second shorts, I have learned to almost immediately dismiss them until supported by more evidence.

And there's also commercial social media algorithms that take advantage of their extensive data hoarding to stagnate and dogmatize opinions.

Mostly it boils down to taking it slow and, depending on the medium, learning how to tell key signs.

Then I guess it's mostly just experience and intuition, like learning how to pirate stuff safely online.

Thanks a bunch!

Interested in learning more about disinformation?

Sure, do you have something that'll help me identify disinformation better?

Is there any reason to be optimistic about it, or are we all doomed? As far as I've looked it up, the more optimistic projections predict a 1-2° global temperature rise in the next few decades, which is pretty bad.

Is it a smart decision to start moving to higher/colder regions yet? What can we do?

And is there a good resource or video essay or whatever for this? There is so much misinformation and fearmongering around climate change. It's a hassle to weed out any trustable information.

I personally like to imagine me doing things for my future self. You know those moments when you feel really grateful towards yourself for having done something good in the past? I try my best to chase that feeling.

Just say "Oh yeah future me, you're gonna absolutely love present me for this", and wash those dishes like a boss.

Pull out, lick it. Now you've got some iron (haemoglobin from blood) and free gut bacteria. Good exchange. Worst that'll happen to you is diarrhea.

Yes.

But still, there are also a ton of original IPs popping up everywhere. They don't get as much coverage though, 'cause reboots of super popular IPs usually get more online attention.

I know this isn't an unpopular meme in general, skibidi toilet gets millions (probably billions) of views globally, but it certainly is an unpopular opinion among people of my agegroup, and probably among the Lemmy crowd as well.

Skibidi toilet is utterly absurd and wacky while also incorporating some fairly entertaining worldbuilding and parallel narratives. You should check it out if you haven't yet. It's well-made 3D SFM animation, and uses a lot of the Half-Life 2 assets too.

Just to be clear, I mean the original skibidi toilet animations made by the youtube channel 'Dafuq boom' (I think that was the name). The derivative brainless slop that circulates all over YouTube is garbage.

It's a fact that the rectum can absorb some amount of nutrients.

So, a person should probably be able to live for quite some time while only absorbing nutrients via enema, right?

Can it be done?
