Someone more knowledgeable than me please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think any of the original private investors have been capable of selling anything and I don't think they will be able to for another 30 or 60 days.

And IMO, I think Elon is thoroughly convinced that he will have another Tesla stock situation on his hand, where it generally keeps going up unreasonably for many many years.

Oh for sure. I'm just curious what dosage folks are taking around here.

I'm trying out Zed

And body weight if you don't mind sharing. I've been on 10mg xr (Adderall) for 5 months and it's been helpful for me. I'm about 155lb, just up'd my dosage and got perscribed a 5mg ir dose to take as needed as well so I'll be taking 15mg a day.

What dose are you all on, I remember scrolling through a reddit thread a while ago and almost everybody was taking really large doses imo, like 30 - 40 mg a day. Maybe that's sorta normal, I dunno.

They are already there in many ways and exceeded how bad America is in some ways too. They have been speedrunning the digital dystopia aspect, america ain't far behind though.

(Coming from an american)

The food was very good

As far as I understand they've done a significant amount of work related to HLS. It's not nearly as public facing as starship but they have crossed a lot of milestones that are part of their Nasa contract. Including a lot of work on orbital refueling, the HLS landing engines, and the crew version of starship.

Of course, this shit is still multiple years away so the meme holds true.

I just like people watching, and also have pretty extreme flight anxiety and motion sickness so I may have resting bitch face while I watch you pass. I'm sure me vomiting later in the flight is more of a disturbance than my face though.

Yea I hope this spurs more investment into Chinese llm labs, or really any country doing open models (pretty much only china). The united states like normal cannot be a trusted and reliable partner. I'm also against lobotomizing llms in general In the name of "safety".

I mean, like I said, chinese models are nearly just as capable and they will forever be substantially cheaper simply because anybody with a server can run them. So your logic just doesn't pan out. Unless America can maintain a sufficient advantage in the technological capabilities, hopefully that doesn't happen.

I already agreed with you that Americans will raise prices in newer models (not old ones), but it doesn't really matter if the competition is almost as good and 100x cheaper.

I don't think that's the plan and it won't work if it is, believe it or not I think these corporate soul suckers know that.

Chinese models are literally 75x cheaper than frointer usa models with 85% of the capabilities. Chinese's models have continually been 3 - 6 months behind frointer models. This will continue to be the case and since Chinese models are generally open anyone with a big server can run them and sell tokens, it's gonna stay cheap.

I'm pretty sure most LLM providers are making enough money to profit on selling infrence. They only are in the negative from massive spending on hiring the best talent and research/development into new models and the associated hardware/data center build outs to train those new models.

The truth in my opinion is these companies are confident that if they spend enough they will reach a critical threshold where llms are actually intelligent and useful, and that is what they are betting on. Being the first company to make real "Ai" that can self improve.

I'm sure OpenAI and Anthropic will try to charge more because they are soul sucking capitalists but that will only be viable as long as they are sufficiently in the lead from open weight models. I think Anthroptic has already 2x api pricing for their newest hype beast end of the world its so scary advanced Fable 5 model.

I was hoping the Chinese labs would go ham and just stop putting any safety guardrails at all. It's much easier to get around them on the Chinese models, but there's still some minimal ones baked in, sadly.

Of course I asked for her permission before posting

I'm pretty sure this was the 50mm

Yes well I was really just trying to be funny (poorly) I must admit, good points I'm glad you stated though.

One just has golden plates and the other doesn't. Pretty much the same thing.

I also took the same shot with a bit different focus in landscape, I'll post it some other time.

This was in the Fukuoka area, I like how the colors ended up coming out, bit eerie feeling.

This was at Iidabashi Station in the Tokyo area.
