It looks photoshopped or ai generated. The contact area between hand and card doesn't seem enough to hold it up

Ok, then it makes sense that you didn't had a use for their comment.

My App for lemmy (voyager) doesn't prelead/preview the webpages. (And i also don't want it to.)

There are a lot of different ways to enjoy lemmy. This is nice but means that not everyone has the exact same experience as you :)

"Although the researchers say their new system could be relatively easily developed into an automatic coffee machine for home users, the biggest opportunity is likely to be for large-scale commercial producers of coffee-based drink."

They say it in the article what it is for...

Yes. He gave us the missing information from the clickbait-title. In this way he was making the subtitle here available, and i didn't needed to click a link to a random website too read it.

In the end i was was clicking the link because the subtitle sounded interesting. With just the title i probably would not read it. And then i controlled if he cited it correctly. And because it was the same i gave an upvote to confirm to others that the subtitle is correct

Why would you filter out the ICE? They are amazing german trains, super fast and reliable. No Person has ever complained about them because they are amazing. Did i already mention how reliable and amazing they are?

And there is never a discussion about if they need more or less funding. So it's a completly unpolitical topic, because they are not only reliable but also amazing

The problem is that you assume this is a normal train behavior. It is not.

If your question is truly about the general efficency. here is the very first article that i found https://www.thegreenshot.io/uncategorized/train-vs-car/

But all your answers make it clear that you don't care about your question, instead you want to complain. And rightly so! This is shitty

Just stop fraiming it as if you are asking a question. It is not happening with well designed infratructure and is not a general problem with trains.

Maybe in your specific place it might even has a net negative impact. But almost everywhere else trains are saving tons of fuel.

Not a movie but quite similar concept: The Thursday Murder Club
I read the german translation of the books and the books are amazing!

Apparently there is also a movie existing but i didn't watch it (yet). And it doesn't have the requested cast https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thursday_Murder_Club_(film)

I like your metaphor, i think it's fitting very good :)

But the rest of your statement: i read your comments to Canconda in this way. I seems to me that you at least you are implying it.

Take your pills then while your waiting for them to kick in maybe you should take some time to touch grass.

Great to hear that you found something that is working for you!

But not everyone has the same issues as you. For some it might be even contraproductive to reflect even more, because its their issue that they do it already too much

While it's helpful (and important for most people) to ALSO do physical activity, many (most?) people still need their medication.

Under the condition that the person has told you their gender (or the pronouns they want you to use for them): yes, then i am agreeing with you

But if you don't know a person: The gender is not always lining up with their apperance or the appearance can be (sometimes purposely) ambiguous

The name adhd is misleading... it's not a deficit of attention but a a deficit of being able to control where to put the attention.

(btw some adhd researchers from switzerland proposed to rename it to "Unusual Management of Informations and Functions")
