Exactly! The more those fuckers hide from us, the louder we need to get.

Call or email your representatives to let them know you support Public Media.

I emailed both my D Senators, even though they already support PBS and NPR. I also emailed the shitty maga dentist who pretends to be a congressman, and who sent an auto-generated form reply decrying Public Media for falsely claiming that musk made a nazi salute.

Here are some statistics to suck up:

  • Fireworks started an estimated 31,302 fires in 2022, including 3,504 structure fires, 887 vehicle fires, 26,492 outside fires, and 418 unclassified fires. These fires caused an estimated six civilian deaths, 44 civilian injuries and $109M in direct property damage. (Note:  Total may not equal sum because of rounding error.)
  • In 2022, U.S hospital emergency rooms treated an estimated 10,200 people for fireworks related injuries; Over half of those injuries were to the extremities (29% hands and fingers, 19% legs, 5% arms) and 35% were to the eyes or other parts of the head.
  • Children younger than 15 years of age accounted for 28% of the estimated 2022 injuries. These injury estimates were obtained or derived from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s 2022 Fireworks Annual Report

As far as knowing “exactly when the fireworks are coming”, I hear mortars exploding for a solid two weeks in June and July, another two weeks around New Year’s Eve, and throughout the year at various events and during random neighborhood parties. There’s no way to predict the concussions, and millions of people have PTSD.

In addition, the 4th of July is the deadliest day for pets and wildlife.

Your reply to osaerisxero was correct and made more sense before he ninja-edited.

It’s always important to question everything - but don’t stop there.

First, check the source and citations. This news org claims to be progressive and it actually checks out as left leaning. Citations are legit.

Next, read carefully for context. While the article discusses the amount conservatives have pumped into their candidate, and even musk’s $12 million donation plus his million dollar voter payout scheme, the focus is on all the details of dem/liberal/left contributors. So it’s meant to be a positive story of coming together against the project 2025 machine.

It’ll end up somehow being blamed on Dems. Remembering the time Congress overrode Obama’s JASTA veto, then the GOP immediately blamed Obama for not warning them harder.

Along for the debacle were Energy Secretary chris wright and senator mike lee, the Utah douchebag who specializes in helping trump sell fracking and oil drilling rights at national parks.

I’m sure they’re not interested in raping Greenland, though.

The rapey old shitbag has been trying to fuck President Zelensky since 2019. Gross.

Watching such a personal aspect of this fucking atrocity might be more than most of us can bear, but we all need to see this. Nobody has the right to look away.

He wasn’t Irish. He was a Brit, working as a landlord in Ireland.

Along with Fiji Water and Teleflora.

Basically anything touched by Stewart Resnick, the wealthiest American “farmer” and water pirate.

Yeah, El Salvador is having a bad time. If you’re curious, this one hour documentary shows some pretty dark shit.

I just found out that Kia has a huge class action and extended warranty arrangement for select models. Because my 2016 is included in the affected group, it seems that Kia would reimburse for the new engine, but I’m being told my car isn’t on the list because I didn’t bring it in for a software update before it seized.

I’ve moved to different states in the past 4 years, and don’t know if any Kia notice ever got to me. Since I was unaware of the oil issue, the lawsuit, the recall workaround, and the update, I’m wondering if anyone knows what I could do to be reimbursed. Do I have any options?
