You might be right. I tried to check the “Computers in Human Behavior” to find the article, but couldn’t find it.

Well the article said that the study is from 2020. So it might be a lot worse now.

Okrem klasickeho “mam nevyliecitelnu chorobu a v buducnosti uz ju snad budu vediet liecit”. Kazdopadne beruc do uvahy vsetko co som spominal - asi by som do toho ani tak nesiel.

Pokial by som nemal skutocne dobry dovod, tak nedal. Momentalne totiz nemam pocit, ze svet v buducnosti bude vyzerat lepsie. Ked si predstavim, ze by som sa zamrazil 20 rokov dozadu a rozmrazil dnes, tak ma z toho dost… mrazi.

They’ll continue pushing Trump to extort Europe as hard as possible. Tarriffs here, NATO support there. Because they know that this is the best time to do it. Once Europe reduces the dependency on USA, their leverage will only get smaller and smaller

Do you think he’s aware that their beloved Russians are bombing a country every day for few years now…? But I guess that’s fine for people like him, because obviously - Ukrainians are bad because they’re supported by the “Satan West”.

But you don’t understand. It’s calling for a murder of someone they don’t like… That’s totally ok in their eyes.

And people like that have the nerve to call everyone a fascist. They’re using the word “fascism” so much that they need to create dumb nicknames and abbreviations for it.

What do you mean by “really, really bad at IM”?

Ah so you’re fighting liberals by writing unhinged stuff on internet. Good job. Think about it the next time no one takes you seriously.

I’m looking for an application for managing of time-sensitive reminders. For less time critical things, I’m perfectly fine with having e-mail reminders. But for those “do at 18:00” kinds of reminders, I was always using the default iOS Reminders application.

Now I’m trying to reduce my dependency on Apple ecosystem, so I’m looking for something that:

  1. is multiplatform (iOS + Android, no desktop application needed)
  2. allows sharing of lists with other people (for example, grocery lists that I’m sharing with wife that we can both contribute to)

Nice bonus would be if it wasn’t behind a subscription, but rather a one-time payment. Is there something like that which is also European?

What are you favorite European weather applications/webpages? At the moment I’m using https://www.yr.no/, but I don’t completely like the design of their application. I mostly don’t like the fact that each day is split into 4 segments instead of showing one line per day. It might sound like a minor thing (and it really is), but if someone knows other good alternatives please share your experiences.

I’m looking for a store where I could buy e-books which are usable by Kindle. I don’t use the e-reader that much, so I don’t want to buy a completely new device as the old one is perfectly fine. But I also want to have an option to use it from time to time (Amazon already got their money so it would be a waste to buy a new device)

My main problem (and please correct me if I’m wrong) is, that stores which I found mostly contain books in epub format (with DRM) which can’t be opened by the Kindle and which would need to be converted via 3rd party applications.

Are there some good stores with ease of use that’s similar to the Amazon’s one? Buy a book, send it to device, done. Or do I need to accept, that I will need to somehow convert books before using them?
