Legality is a matter of judicial opinion and enforcement. It seems that the trump administration is perfectly fine with ignoring the former and the judicial system can't be asked to perform the latter.

The banality of evil rears its unremarkable and familiar head once again.

Have they improved their customer service at all? I used to exclusively get oneplus phones, but then I got two models in a row that were unusable after a couple months.

They both had solvable problems, but I could never get their service department to actually implement the correct fix. They would just tell me to send it in, and then send it right back without even doing anything.

Would be a neat experiment though...... Allow guns in Ireland, but only for women. I don't think it's a great idea, but it would be interesting.

Yeah.... Especially if you have a high efficiency machine. Washing machines use a lot less water than back when these "recipes" were actually practical. So if you utilize shaved bar soap and borax, you're not only going to be leaving residue to build up in your machine, you're going to have it build up in your clothes as well.

Also, a lot of people are sensitive to borax. The reason they don't use it in regular detergent as an agitator is because it can cause rashes for a large percentage of the population.

that Russia doesn't need minerals, nor land, nor resources, but an assurance that nuclear capabilities aren't being deployed along its border.

I mean if that was the entire point of the war wouldn't it still be a strategic failure considering the invasion prompted Finland to join NATO?

It definitely was, this was written by Heinlein over the course of like two weeks as an angry response to the US suspending nuclear weapon testing. Mind you this was still in the 50's and right in the middle of the red scare.

Heinlein was a rampant libertarian, and as we've seen with the GOP libertarians are not too far removed from fascism. I think Heinlein kinda cooled his heels over time, and mellowed later in his career.

Don't think it could be anything for prosthetics, that type of steel would be too liable to cause a patient a wound, we tend to use things like leather or dacron for strapping.

Looks similar to strapping I seen for keeping rolls of sheet metal together.

I mean it's kinda hard to separate from COVID and the set back in their housing market. Basically in an attempt to meet their GDP quotas local governments loaned out way too much money to keep production. So local governments are in a lot of debt which at some point should have cascading effects on the economy.

You might try an orthopedic shoe company like Drew Shoes. They carry size 15 in multiple widths for a lot of their shoes. They can be a bit pricey, but they have a clearance section that usually has a lot of options.

Yeah.... Because Trump has such a good track record of maintaining nuclear deals. This is just a pretense to allow Israel to invade Iran once they've finished their genocide in Gaza.

The whole reason Israel felt comfortable enough to commit to purging Gaza is because Trump ended the original nuclear deal to begin with. Now that Benni feels things are wrapping up in Palestine, he's going to need another war to keep Israel's bloodlust going and keep his coalition together.

International law no longer holds any water. Every world power seems hell bent on making geopolitics revolve around hard power. The US backs out of treaties every four years, the Russians haven't ever made a deal they didn't pretend never happened, and China is out there pretending a vast swath of the Pacific is there's because of reasons...

In a time where a level of global cooperation is needed greater than ever before to prevent climate change, we as a species are shitting the bed harder than ever before.

Well, vaccines are part of it.... a large part is that the government started to regulate businesses more for harmful practices and mandating things like fortifying goods with essential vitamins.

With captain brainworms advocating for things like unprocessed milk, it wouldn't be surprising to see infant mortality get worse than it already is in America.

they'd rather die than give up their unmasked freedom.

When they said that they meant other people, not themselves. As someone who works in my conservative state's largest ER and only trauma 1 ward, pretty much everyone who died were completely baffled why they were being put on ventilators, including their families.

No one imagines it's going to be them who ends up in the ground, they just want to continue doing what they want do without being told no. I think the big difference is that no one is going to expect other people to pay for their groceries.
