Disconnecting it from the internet should do the trick.

I believe I can fly...

Found this while thrifting. The cable is for a sennheiser hd 203 headphones. Even having the headphones I cant find anything about this cable online.

If your into realistic FPS games then you want to go with bodycam, 6 days or if you want a solid mix between realistic and not so realistic then Insurgency Sandstorm is good.

But if you want good lore then start with doom and work your way up the series.

I have a pixel 8 and had a faulty screen caused by poorly installed latches that held down the screen. Slapping above the power button seemed to fix it for about 20 minutes.

I don't see enough people mentioning this, but preventative maintenance can save you a lot of money.

Another thing I would recommend is to be familiar with the systems in your house, what fuel does your furnace use? What type of water heater do you have? how old are the fuses in the fuse box? Does your electrical panel have a surge protector? Do you have a water pump should your basement begin to flood? Do you have a generator panel? Knowing how these work can save you money on trouble shooting.

For example, if you live in an area with lots of squirrels, it might be worth putting up chicken wire on any entrance to the attic from the outdoors. Ex: air vents. If I would have done this, I would have saved $900 from chewed wires that could have started a fire.

I believe they are somewhat stockpiling, but to a limited extent. With the Baltic states creating fortifications (dragons teeth and a few other things) does signal war time preparations.

Not to also mention putin is trying to arm belarus and get them involved, which may elevate some stress on russian forces enough for them re-organize.

As much as I hate to say it, there's a chance of this war expanding to other countries before it ends.

This goes to show you why having quality of quantity is better. Not to also mention ukrainian soldiers having better training and equipment.

For example, the bradly when used properly by a well experienced crew can be a very dangerous opponent on the battlefield. In desert storm most bradly's were lost to friendly fire, not enemy fire.

At this point we should just donate the a-10, their cheap, strong, simple, and carry a shit load of fire power. The brrt should be enough to make russians commanders issue brown pants.

This is also probably confirmed loses, so it could be even higher.

Hello all, I'm trying to flash linux mint to a old thinkpad I'm refurbishing. However, when I go to flash the ISO to the USB, balena etcher throws the following error's

[23381:0729/101159.717484:ERROR:gl_surface_presentation_helper.cc(260)] GetVSyncParametersIfAvailable() failed for 1 times! [23340:0729/101202.577845:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(280)] GLib-GObject: invalid cast from 'GtkFileChooserNative' to 'GtkWidget' [23340:0729/101205.337371:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(280)] GLib-GObject: ../gobject/gsignal.c:2777: instance '0x37b801188b20' has no handler with id '5761' [23381:0729/101205.693383:ERROR:gl_surface_presentation_helper.cc(260)] GetVSyncParametersIfAvailable() failed for 2 times!

I would like to note I'm flashing this ISO from my main computer running fedora, and I installed balena etcher from an RPM, (Already tried the app image, but it seems that FUSE is acting up).

Thank you in advance!

I'll start off, my favorite song is all along the watch tower by Jimi Hendrix. That guitar at the start just sounds so beautiful.

Hello guys & gals, I recently distro hopped to fedora and I'm having problems getting the NVIDIA driver to properly work. I get a error when booting that says "Nvidia kernal module missing - falling back to noveau" I've tried the following;

https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/nvidia-kernel-module-missing-falling-back-to-nouveau-during-update/89801

https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/711756/fedora-nvidia-kernel-module-missing-falling-back-to-nouveau

I should note this is a laptop and my GPU is a 1660Ti and I can toggle the iGPU from the bios.

Hello, currently I use qksms but its very problematic and lacks basic fetures. One of those issues being you cant send videos, and sending and recieving media is pixalated or blurry because of a commpresion issue. I've already tried adjusting the compresion options in settings to find out it doesn't work.

What messangers do you guys/gals recommend?
